Achievement Behavior Services (ABS) is looking for caring and reliable ABA Behavior Technicians to join our team in Central Queens. We work with children and teens diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them build meaningful skills through structured and supportive ABA sessions in their home environment.
If you enjoy working with kids, are patient, and want to make a difference, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in ABA, special education, psychology, and related fields.
Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with a learner while following a treatment plan designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Sessions focus on developing communication, social skills, and independence through guided activities and reinforcement-based teaching.
Daily responsibilities include:
Running skill-building programs according to the treatment plan
Teaching through play, structure, and positive reinforcement
Recording session notes and data on progress
Collaborating with a supervising BCBA and parents
You will be trained and supported throughout the process—no previous ABA experience required.
Competitive hourly pay
Consistent after-school or weekend hours
Professional training and BCBA mentorship
Opportunities to pursue RBT certification
A supportive and welcoming clinical team
Enjoy working with children and families
Reliable, punctual, and good with communication
Calm, patient, and able to follow structured plans
Experience in childcare, special needs, ABA, or education is welcome (not required)
