Mental Health Technician, UHS Binghamton General Hospital Shift Evening Hours per week: 32 Salary range: $19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience. Overview Provides direct patient care related to biopsychosocial rehabilitation of the patient in the Behavioral Health setting. Activities include direct patient care as related to environment of care, safety issues, therapeutic communication and co-facilitation of groups. Utilizes effective communication skills. Education/Experience Minimum Required: Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Human Services or 4 years of experience in a Mental Health related field or inpatient hospital setting and completion of Abnormal Psych within 2 years of hire.
