Salary: $25.00-32.00/hour DOE

Job Overview: The Greenville Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper who will be involved in all aspects of accounting and financial record-keeping with a primary focus on managing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and specific internal reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Transaction Posting: Maintain the general ledger by recording financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of entries.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the full accounts payable and receivable cycle, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliation.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate and accounted for.
• Government and Grant Reporting Support: Assist with document preparation and ensure compliance with all government and grant requirements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Ensure all assigned accounts are reconciled and closed properly at month-end and year-end.
• Other Duties: Assist with ad-hoc financial tasks and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required.

Additional Information:

• This is a part-time position, requiring 20 hours per week.
