Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Operating Room role requiring neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics experience in Pennsylvania or with a compact license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Operating Room with a focus on neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics cases
• Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 to 17:30
• Two weekend call shifts required every six weeks, call starts at end of shift Friday to 07:00 Monday
• One to two weekday calls required per week, from after shift to 07:00 the next morning
• 30-minute callback response required during call periods
• Care may include patients with COVID-19
• Charting is done using Epic; Epic experience is required
• No floating required
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed during contract
• Holiday coverage is call only and based on department need
• Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start and take approximately 5-6 hours
• Tobacco and fragrance free work environment
• Candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered local and paid at a lower rate
• RTO requests must be specified during application
• Pairs may be submitted but matched schedules are not guaranteed
• Interview will be conducted by manager after clinical review

• Active PA or compact RN license with no license hits
• Minimum of 2 years Operating Room RN experience
• Neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics Operating Room experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Prior experience using Epic EMR
• First-time travelers are not accepted
