Temp Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Job ID: 11507 Location: 3116 W US 22 Ste I, Maineville, OH 45039 Position Type: Temp Salary: Up to $37/HR based on experience Schedule: PRN Fridays 8:00AM-5:00PM We’re looking for a talented and compassionate Temp Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. Our practice is more than just a dental office – it’s a place where patients feel like family. Personally contribute to a culture which delivers an exceptional patient experience for every patient, every time. Help ensure efficient operations by seeking patient referrals, maintaining equipment, utilizing supplies cost‑effectively, and posting patient charges accurately. Follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and infection control. Complete all clinical notes according to practice guidelines before dismissing patient. Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols, providing instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments, positioning instruments for the dentist’s access, suctioning, and passing instruments. Other duties as needed. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Place and finish permanent restorations, complete preliminary impressions, make and polish temporary crowns, remove temporary crowns, fit permanent crowns and bridges, adjust occlusions and interproximal contacts, apply sealants, and adjust partials and dentures. What We Are Looking For Certification as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) (Preferred) Current CPR/BLS certification High School Diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
