Job Description

Aardvark Communications & Security is looking for a highly motivated, customer focused, and technically skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team! The Sales Rep is responsible for selling diverse products and technical hardware to both commercial and residential customers.

The qualified candidate will have experience with low voltage networks, telecommunication systems to include VOIP and Hybrid applications, security system installations to include access control systems, intrusion alarms, and CCTV systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Implement and administer sales programs in commercial and residential markets to maximize profitable opportunities.
• Read blue prints, programming documentation and wiring diagrams.
• Work closely with the Aardvark installation team to ensure effective completion with a positive customer experience.
• Interact with all team members, from executives to installers, to assist with problem solving and situations that require conflict resolution.
• Troubleshoot low voltage wiring issues and sell services to correct them accordingly while in the field.
• Perform technical tasks with little training and direction.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience in commercial and/or residential environments.
• Candidate needs to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications and/or security field experience.
• Must have a working knowledge of networking, telephone systems, intrusion alarm systems, access control, cameras and fire alarms.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
• Computer experience is a must.
• Must be able to lift 50 – 100 lbs. and work on ladders up to 30 feet.
• Ability to work in office settings, tight spaces, elevated work levels such as cat-walks or platforms.
