Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a job in Seaford, Delaware.

Surgical Technician – Full-Time
Join a dynamic surgical team dedicated to excellence in patient care! The Surgical Technician plays a vital role in supporting surgeons and staff before, during, and after surgical procedures. This position ensures all instruments, equipment, and the operating room environment meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Candidates with prior hospital experience—especially within a Level II Trauma Center—are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile surgical fields and instruments for each procedure
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, holding retractors, and anticipating procedural needs
• Support patient safety and comfort throughout all perioperative phases
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers for optimal patient outcomes
• Document all surgical activities accurately and in accordance with hospital policy
• Participate in ongoing professional education and skills development

Qualifications

• Previous hospital-based Surgical Tech experience preferred (Level II Trauma experience a plus)
• Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and surgical procedures
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (preferred but not required)
• Strong attention to detail, quick decision-making, and team collaboration skills
• Commitment to sterile technique and patient safety
• CPR/BLS certification required
