Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Director Of Talent Acquisition @ Cipriani POSITION PURPOSE: The Spa Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, guest experience, and strategic growth of the spa and wellness department. This includes managing the team, driving revenue, ensuring top-tier service, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. The Spa Director plays a key leadership role in creating a luxurious, rejuvenating, and profitable spa environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

Ensure seamless guest experience at the property. Oversee all aspects of the spa’s operations including treatments, staffing, scheduling, inventory, and guest service. Lead, train, and motivate a team of therapists, aestheticians, and spa front desk staff to deliver exceptional service. Develop and implement spa programs, promotions, and wellness initiatives to drive revenue and guest engagement. Monitor and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. Manage spa budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Monitor client satisfaction through feedback tools and implement continuous improvements. Partner with marketing and sales teams to promote spa services and packages. Ensure full compliance with local health and licensing regulations. Oversee ordering, stock control, and maintenance of spa equipment and products. Create an atmosphere of serenity, professionalism, and hospitality for guests and staff alike.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, wellness, or business (preferred). 5+ years of progressive spa or wellness management experience, preferably in a luxury or hotel environment. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Knowledge of spa software systems and booking platforms. Deep understanding of spa treatments, therapies, and wellness trends. Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and revenue. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION: Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (linen bags, retail stock, product deliveries). Climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, and reaching to access supplies and equipment. Ability to navigate between treatment rooms, locker rooms, laundry areas, and storage. Responding quickly in emergency situations or guest requests. Ability to assist or support therapists in room setups, furniture moves, or minor adjustments. Comfortable working in warm, humid spa environments (steam rooms, treatment areas). Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
