We are currently seeking a dynamic and innovative ServiceNow Developer to join our team. This is a permanent position within our Tech Services industry that requires a candidate who is experienced in multi-domain and IT Service Management (ITSM). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Change Management and Service Catalog. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience and the ability to use this experience to drive our business forward.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing, designing, and owning technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
2. Configuring and improving core and custom applications.
3. Working directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow.
4. Developing system integrations and process automation within the ServiceNow platform.
5. Creating and configuring Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs.
6. Creating and configuring Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow.
7. Developing and delivering customized portal web pages in ServiceNow using Bootstrap, Angular, and JavaScript frameworks.
8. Conducting thorough testing and validation of all system changes, ensuring they meet both user and business needs.
9. Collaborating effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop global solutions.
10. Handling and managing ITSM processes including incident, problem, change, and knowledge management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the ServiceNow Developer position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or in a similar role within the Tech Services industry.
2. Proven experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), Change Management, and Service Catalog.
3. Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform and its applications.
4. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and good knowledge of any one of the JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Bootstrap, etc.
5. Excellent understanding of the ways in which ServiceNow can be configured and customized and be able to drive the right solutions to meet business needs.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and come up with effective solutions.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
8. ITIL certification will be considered a plus.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
