ServiceNow Data Analyst

Description:

The Data Analyst supports Digital Technology Service Management (DTSM), interprets data, and turns it into information which can offer ways to improve Digital Technology (DT), thus affecting DT decisions.\rThey also gather information primarily from ServiceNow and interpret patterns and trends to Leadership.\rResponsibilities include: collaborating to design and develop schemas and data acquisition, transformations, and data integration; developing and utilizing software to interface with big data and relational solutions; designing and implementing solutions for metadata, data quality, and privacy management; consulting with process owners on data artifacts generation; supporting and consulting with development staff; working within business or management teams to establish DT needs; collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify patterns and trends; communicating notable data and results to leadership; and defining new data collection and analysis processes.

Requirements:

Experience with Request, Asset Management, Configuration Management, Demand and Story management, Visual Task Boards, and similar tools.\rUnderstanding of ServiceNow reporting and dashboarding tools.\rProficiency in Python.\rKnowledge of IT Operations Management and airline industry metrics.\rEducation: A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or a Bachelor’s degree with significant work experience in the technology industry.\rExperience in goal settings from teams to large organizations.\rDemonstrated experience handling data sets and relational databases.\rUnderstanding of ServiceNow integrated and process-based framework including ServiceDesk, Incident, Major Incident, Field Services, Change Request, Problem Management, and Catalog.\rKey Skills: ServiceNow Analyst, ServiceNow development, Power BI, Data Analysis.\rMinimum Experience: 10 years.\r3-5 years of experience working as a business analyst in large scale, complex enterprise systems.\rAbility to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.\rAbility to translate DT requirements into non-technical, lay terms.\rExperience in process optimization.\rUnderstanding of KPIs.
