The Jobat aGlance We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Customs Broker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to our import compliance program, accurately classifying goods under USHTS and CAHTS, and collaborating with various internal and external teams to facilitate customs business. This role requires expertise in handling US and Canadian imports, compliance with all applicable PGA regulations, and the creation of import documents. A Typical Day Partner with the Global Import Compliance and International Freight Logistics Manager to ensure adherence to the company's import compliance program. Partner with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth flow of international shipments. Partner with Encompass' 3rd party import brokers to ensure compliant entries. Perform USHTS and CAHTS classification work. Collaborate with internal and external teams to conduct customs business efficiently. Manage US and Canadian imports, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Ensure compliance with all applicable PGA (Partner Government Agency) regulations. Evaluation of ADD/CVD cases. Create and manage import documents accurately and in a timely manner. To Land This Opportunity Proven experience as a Customs Broker or in a similar role. Certification as a Licensed Customs Broker (LCB). 5+ years of experience providing customs business advice. In-depth knowledge of USHTS and CAHTS classification. Strong understanding of US and Canadian import regulations and PGA requirements. Experience with import compliance programs. Familiarity with international trade regulations. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Able to work independently in a remote setting.
