Overview:

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Biotechnologist to join a dynamic and growing Cell and Gene Therapy team based in New Hampshire. This role is instrumental in the implementation and support of high-impact biotechnological manufacturing projects, ensuring the success of innovative therapies in a regulated and fast-paced environment.

This position is ideal for experienced professionals who bring deep technical expertise, leadership capability, and a collaborative spirit to cutting-edge biomanufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and actively promote site-wide safety standards and ensure compliance among team members.
  • Provide cross-site support within the Cell and Gene Therapy network, including occasional travel.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in designated manufacturing areas (e.g., cell culture, drug product filling).
  • Lead and oversee critical manufacturing operations such as harvest, vial filling, and visual inspection.
  • Partner with external customer experts to integrate and maintain client-specific processes within the production facility.
  • Represent the manufacturing function during technical reviews, project planning sessions, and campaign preparations.
  • Coordinate and deliver training for production teams on new technologies, batch records, and quality systems.
  • Collaborate with project specialists to implement process improvements for new and existing customer products.
  • Assist in the identification and procurement of equipment and raw materials required for biomanufacturing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 5–10 years of hands-on experience in biotechnological manufacturing or a closely related area.
  • Skills:
  • Proven leadership in GMP-compliant manufacturing environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments with high quality and regulatory standards
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to support other facilities as needed.
