About the Role

We are seeking a talented RPA Developer to join our team and drive automation initiatives that enhance our financial operations. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to streamline processes across our accounting and finance departments. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating systems and building automation workflows to support real-time cross-functional dashboards that provide business insights.

(This is an on-site role in Birmingham, Alabama. Local candidates will take priority in consideration for this opportunity.)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions to automate manual finance and accounting workflows.
• Integrate various systems and data sources to enhance cross-functional financial dashboards.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Design, build, and maintain automation solutions using UiPath, Power Automate, or similar RPA tools.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial reporting, reconciliations, and forecasting processes.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into dashboards for business intelligence insights.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automation bots, resolving issues and optimizing performance.
• Maintain security, compliance, and governance standards within all automation initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field desired.
• 2+ years of RPA development experience with tools like UiPath, similar tools.
• Strong skills in SQL, for automation and data integration.
• Familiarity with APIs and data connectors to integrate financial platforms and reporting tools.
• Experience developing and managing Power BI, Tableau, or similar financial dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting processes, and accounting principles is a plus.
