Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Residential Cleaner to join our team for short-term rental turnovers, primarily for Airbnb properties. This position is a contract role with the opportunity to grow into a management position based on performance.
As a Residential Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring properties are cleaned to the highest standards between guest stays. You will play a crucial role in providing a clean and welcoming environment for guests, contributing to positive reviews and repeat bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of properties, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Change linens, make beds, and ensure the property is stocked with necessary amenities (toiletries, towels, etc.).
• Follow specific instructions and cleaning checklists provided for each property.
• Ensure that all equipment, furniture, and fixtures are in proper condition and report any maintenance issues to the property owner or manager.
• Ensure the property is ready for the next guest’s check-in by meeting or exceeding cleaning standards.
• Use online cleaning applications to track and report cleaning tasks, time logs, and inventory.
• Coordinate with the property management team to ensure smooth turnovers and address any last-minute cleaning requests.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with any local regulations or cleaning protocols related to short-term rentals.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in residential or short-term rental cleaning (Airbnb experience is a plus).
• Ability to use computers and online cleaning applications (training will be provided as needed).
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and punctual with the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with a team.
• Access to transportation for traveling between Toronto, Brampton, and Oakville locations.
• Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Additional Information:
• This is a contract position with flexible hours. Cleaning schedules will be based on guest check-in/check-out times.
