\n\nJob Details:
\n• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
\n• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting
\n• One year of nursing experience required
\n• Trauma Level 1 experience required
\n• North Carolina registered nurse license required
\n• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)
\n• Nursing diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing required
\n• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred
\n• Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs through education programs
\n• Assess patient/family readiness to learn and developmental factors affecting learning ability
\n• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects
\n• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans
\n• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
\n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in evaluation of patient care
\n• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
\n• Participate in development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities
