We’re looking for an experienced  Radiation Therapist  to join our extraordinary team at University of Maryland Shore Regional Health.

Job Summary:

Provides radiation therapy treatments. Performs simulation; performs quality assurance tests on equipment. Plays an active role in the care of patients through the education process and daily interaction.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification as a Registered Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (RRTT) and current Maryland Licensure.
• Must meet and follow state, federal and local professional requirements.
• Must follow JCAHO and Regional Cancer Center policies on radiation safety and protection in the deliver and use of radiation producing equipment and sources.
• Successful completion of an AMA accredited course of study in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.

  PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

•   Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry at least 30 pounds.
