Job Responsibilities - Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional objectives.
- Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ research-supported techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.
- Educate Patients and Family Members: Guide patients and their families through therapy processes, equipping them with techniques to continue progress at home.
- Assess and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure each patient stays on track.
Educational Requirements - Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
- Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.
Required Certifications - Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory.
