Overview

B&H is looking for a great Photography educator, writer, visual storyteller, and host who can consistently create engaging, educational and informational video content for B&H’s various platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and some in-person talks

The Photography Producer/Host would live and breathe every aspect within the photography industry from technical skills, gear knowledge, and have that “thing” that audiences gravitate towards to keep viewers watching.

The role would require the Photography producer/host to take the lead on their video productions through planning, delegating and oversight through the production and edit. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of in-depth research and script writing skills, the ability to pitch engaging, visual stories that fit B&H’s brand identity, some technical camera operating capabilities, on-camera hosting experience, and a passion for content creation and visual storytelling.

Candidates must be located in the greater New York City area

Here’s What You’ll Be Working On

• Pitch engaging educational ideas for Photography focused videos
• Produce and Write engaging scripts for product launch videos
• Collaborate with full video team on the various shoots going on each week
• Collaborate with social team to help execute fun and engaging vertical content

Qualifications

• Based in the greater New York City area and able to work in our Manhattan office regularly
• Extensive Photography Portfolio
• Strong on-camera presence with strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience filming social native content
• Ability to multitask, work independently or collaboratively as the project demands, and meet deadlines
• Interest in photography gear, specs and nerding out

NICE TO HAVES

• Prior experience writing humorous content
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Davinci Resolve
• Basic knowledge of shooting video for YouTube
