We presently have an employment opportunity for a Parts Delivery Driver in one of our operations. In this new role, the Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering parts to and from independent shops and dealerships. Additionally, the parts delivery driver will be responsible for general cleanliness and upkeep of the parts department and associated items and tasks.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities? - Transport parts to and from independent shops and dealerships.
- Transport specific items as instructed by management to and from the dealership.
- Collects signatures and/or payment at delivery locations.
- Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and ensure proper signatures are obtained for each delivery.
- Daily inspections of delivery vehicle (low tire pressure, tire wear, dents ect.) ensuring cleanliness, organization and reporting any hazards immediately.
- Professional and pleasant disposition, able to give all clients a positive customer service experience.
Position Requirements: - Must have a clean driving record with no moving violations.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- A considerable knowledge of the surrounding neighborhoods and locales in order to arrive at requested destinations and/or the ability to use GPS.
- The ability to speak, communicate, and receive instruction effectively in English.
- Candidate should be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills required.
