Work Schedule:

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a

Medical Interpreter ASL

to:

Provide interpretation for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing patients and families.

Serve as resource to patients, families and staff.

Perform duties following the guidelines provided by the Registry Interpreters for the Deaf (RID).

Qualifications

High School Diploma Required

Post-high school related coursework/degree Preferred

Work Experience

1 year interpretation experience Required

Healthcare interpretation experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Certified by The Registry Interpreters of the Deaf (RID) as CI or NIC or NAD Upon Hire Required
