The Marine Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing various marine engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budget constraints, and deadlines. This role requires a strong background in marine engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Marine Project Engineer Responsibilities*
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee marine engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client requirements, budget, and schedule constraints.
  • Conduct detailed design and analysis of marine structures and systems, including hull design, stability analysis, and structural integrity assessments.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documentation.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and classification society requirements (e.g., ABS, DNV, USCG).
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution and address any technical challenges that arise.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in marine engineering and incorporate innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
  • Project Engineer (Marine) Position Requirements*
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Naval Architecture & Maritime Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • 10+ years of experience in Naval Architecture and Design.
  • 5 years of experience in marine project engineering, with a strong background in vessel design and construction.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ANSYS, Rhino) and a solid understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.
