Zurich North America is seeking a AEM Developer to join our group in Steven's Point, Wisconsin. At Zurich, technology is at the heart of everything we do, from underwriting risks to processing claims. The Information Technology team equips our employees with the latest tools to work efficiently and uphold high standards of excellence. The team is responsible for protecting our systems from security risks and designing technology strategies that enable Zurich’s business goals. IT functions include application development and management, enterprise architecture, and technology risk and compliance. About the role: Collaborate with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to design and develop AEM components, templates, and workflows that meet project requirements. Customize and extend AEM functionality using technologies like Java, HTL (HTML Template Language), and JavaScript. Integrate AEM with various third-party systems and platforms using APIs and other methods. Configure AEM settings, permissions, and workflows based on project needs and best practices. Assist in content migration and authoring, ensuring a seamless transition and adherence to content guidelines. Optimize AEM performance by identifying bottlenecks, improving code efficiency, and implementing caching strategies. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end and back-end developers, to ensure cohesive digital solutions. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to team members and stakeholders. Document technical specifications, system architecture, and development processes for future reference. Conduct code reviews and participate in quality assurance activities to meet standards and requirements. Basic Qualifications: Two-year degree in CIS/Computer Science or 1-2 years of IT development experience in lieu of degree. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience as an AEM Developer, including custom component development and integration. Strong proficiency in Java, HTL, JavaScript, and related technologies. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React). Experience with AEM Core Components and Touch UI development. Knowledge of AEM administration, including permissions and system maintenance. Understanding of development methodologies, version control, and CI/CD processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively. Effective task management and prioritization skills.
