About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Houston, TX chapter. The successful candidate will be a front-line fundraising professional with a primary focus on individual and foundation gifts, as well as event fundraising. This role is pivotal in the organization's mission to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life for those affected. The Executive Director will be responsible for professional leadership, staff management, and engaging with volunteers to drive the Foundation's vision and revenue growth. Essential functions include board and volunteer engagement, fundraising, communications, team leadership, and administration. The role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in not-for-profit fundraising, experience in volunteer management, and strong communication skills. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's Houston, TX chapter should have a BA/BS degree (preferred) and 5-7 years' experience in not-for-profit fundraising and/or executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of successful fundraising, including individual major and foundation gifts, special events, and corporate giving.
