Job Description Job Description HVAC Service Manager Tampa Bay Area A leading mechanical contractor in the Tampa Bay region is seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Service Manager to oversee service operations based out of their Oldsmar-area office. This key leadership role is responsible for managing a team of 8 skilled service technicians and driving service excellence across the greater Tampa Bay area. About Us We are a full-service mechanical contracting firm offering in-house capabilities in sheet metal, piping, plumbing, and service. Our work spans commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors, with expertise in design/build, design-assist, schematic budgeting, and logistics planning. Our service division maintains a wide variety of mechanical systems—from chilled water to refrigeration—under service contracts, preventative maintenance agreements, and emergency repair models. We also provide indoor air quality testing and duct cleaning services. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the HVAC service department Lead, mentor, and support a team of 8 service technicians Drive customer satisfaction and ensure high-quality service delivery Manage scheduling, dispatching, and technician workflow to improve efficiency Oversee approximately $1 million in annual service revenue with a focus on growth Maintain accurate service records and reporting through management software Resolve escalated service issues and daily operational challenges Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams What You Bring 5 years of HVAC industry experience (service-specific experience preferred) Prior leadership experience in a service-based business Excellent communication and team leadership skills Proficiency in service management software and mobile technologies Highly organized with a strong attention to detail A customer-first mindset with a commitment to reliability and quality Compensation: Base Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Bonus Opportunities: Performance-based incentives and safety bonuses. Pay Structure: Weekly direct deposit (every Friday).
