MHBS: Full-Time Educator (Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice) Department of Business Technology Miami Herbert Business School at the University of Miami is inviting applications for an Educator position at either Assistant or Associate level, in the Department of Business Technology, starting in the Spring of 2025. The post-holder will align with the school's mission of teaching, service and research excellence in technology. The position will also be in affiliation with the Intelligent Computer Systems Research institute, focusing on AI and related fields of research.
The Department is specifically interested in an individual who has significant credibility and standing with senior executives in their field, significant involvement in the fields of cyber security, technology transformation; blockchain; AI, and related technologies. The candidate's reputation is likely to be derived from a prior distinguished professional career at top levels in business or policy and/or significant research that is influential among practitioners. They should also have research that will most often be published books, cases, and in the leading practitioner and policy journals. The candidate must hold a PhD or equivalent equalization and will have spent some part of your career in academia. Please note, this position shall not hold tenured or tenure-earning appointments. Teaching experience is required to teach executive education programs for the school.
