An established San Francisco Bay Area Civil and Geotechnical Engineering firm is seeking a part-time Accountant, who will be based out of our San Francisco office. This position will start out as a Part-Time position. After 90 days, if candidate successfully fulfills requirements of position, can become a Full-time position.

Duties:

• Preparation and submission of monthly client invoices
• Process, review, entry and tracking of sub consultant invoices/contracts and job charges
• Process accounts payable / account receivable / deposits
• Assist with account reconciliations and payroll process
• Prepare project and accounting related Excel spreadsheets and custom reports
• Review and enter timesheets and expenses

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of fundamental general accounting skills
• Minimum 5+ years experience
• Experience with Deltek Ajera Software strongly desired
• Strong Word and Excel spreadsheets skills
• Highly dependable with outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Responsible, committed and self-motivated
• Team player and adaptable to changing priorities
• Ability to stay organized, multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure
• Experience in the architectural and engineering industry is a big plus
