Job DescriptionJob Description The Opportunity: A Fortune 500 telecommunications company is seeking an experienced Data Analyst on a temporary basis in Canonsburg, PA. The assignment is expected to last at least twelve months, possibly longer. The role has a hybrid work schedule - work from home Monday and Friday, In-office Tuesday through Thursday. The hourly rate is between $22 - $26, plus benefits. Primary Duties: The Data Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing large datasets to provide actionable insights and support business strategies. The Data Analyst will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and accuracy of data within the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Additional duties include the following: Collaborate with team members to gather, structure, and analyze large datasets to uncover patterns and insights. Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to present data insights to internal teams and external clients. Work with business partners to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data within ServiceNow’s CMDB. Audit and update existing data as needed. Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring the integrity of datasets. Recommend improvements to data processes and models. Analyze data to support business planning, translating business needs into actionable analyses. Propose and implement process enhancements to optimize data management and improve system functionality. Requirements : 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or software/data management. Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience querying relational databases and working with large datasets. Excel expertise is a must, with a solid understanding of advanced features. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB or similar database management systems is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage priorities and deliver results independently, while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
