smartdept. is searching for a Copywriter for a marketing agency client. This is a part-time , fully remote , ongoing contract opportunity with the possibility of increasing to full-time hours and/or converting to full-time status over time. Compensation for this position is expected to be $25-$30/hour depending on experience level and fit.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and write clear, persuasive, and original copy for print materials (brochures, flyers, advertisements) and digital platforms (websites, social media, email campaigns).
• Ensure all content aligns with the brand's voice, style, and guidelines while maintaining consistency across all communication channels.
• Conduct thorough research to understand the target audience, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform content strategy and messaging.
• Work closely with designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and visually compelling content.
• Review and edit copy for accuracy, grammar, and clarity, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including conceptualizing ideas and creating engaging content.

What You'll Need:

• • 3-5 years of copywriting experience
  • Prior agency experience preferred
  • Previous experience working with medical device or pharmaceutical clients is a plus!
