Summary: In this role, you will provide strategy development, strategic planning, and operational leadership to expand consulting services revenues & deliverables associated with the Supply Chain Continuum including Procurement, Contracting, Distribution, Logistics, Inventory, and Accounts Payable functional areas.
Responsibilities: - Provide strategic direction and technical expertise to develop and advance sourcing strategies and initiatives and provide cost savings opportunities related to new technology, supply issues, and overall supply chain processes and best practices.
- Assist provider executives and department managers in identifying and evaluating customer needs, planning implementation, and facilitate adoption of leading practices and operational processes.
- Maintain clear communication and oversee the delivery of project-specific activities related to assessments, implementations, and transformational initiatives.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Supply Chain Operations, Value Optimization Teams, End Users, and Distributors, to ensure timely product conversions. Serve as a liaison between leadership, clinicians, and other end users to successfully implement preferred product usage. Manage exceptions and determine their clinical viability.
- Participate in strategy discussions, act as a liaison for sourcing initiatives and supply chain strategies and provide input and support to stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance reports, collaborate with end users and department leaders, and work with supply chain leadership to drive on-contract purchasing.
Qualifications: - Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree is a plus.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Subject matter expertise across all functional areas of healthcare supply chain to include Procurement, Contracting, Distribution, Logistics, and Inventory is required.
- Clinical and Value Analysis experience preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to define, plan and lead projects forward.
- Ability to build strong strategic working relationships with both internal and external customers including suppliers and participating providers.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Visio is a plus.
- Candidate must reside within commuting distance of the Greater St. Louis, MO area.
- Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $94,100.00 to $174,700.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
