Job Details Responsibilities:
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and components (commercial/industrial)
2. Performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
3. Inspecting HVAC systems and their components (e.g. air handlers, chillers, boilers, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance.
4. Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in various types of heating and air conditioning systems.
5. Ensuring compliance with all safety and security protocols.
6. Providing technical support and guidance to team members.
7. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field and sharing knowledge with team members.
8. Preparing and submitting service reports and other documentation as required.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician.
2. Proven experience working with boilers, chillers, and commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
3. A strong understanding of HVAC principles, practices, and methods.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Good communication and customer service skills.
7. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
9. A commitment to safety and quality at all times.
