Job Overview:
ExpertCare is Hiring! We are looking for a caring, patient, and dependable caregiver to support a 13-year-old boy in Wyandotte with ADHD, anxiety, and autism. The ideal candidate will have experience working with neurodiverse children or teens and be able to create a calm, structured, and supportive environment. Must be comfortable with cats , as the home includes feline companions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent, one-on-one care and supervision
Support daily routines, including homework help, meals, and calming strategies
Encourage independence and social skill development in a supportive way
Use strategies learned in paid training to help manage emotional regulation and anxiety
Communicate regularly and respectfully with parents or guardians
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals with autism, ADHD, or anxiety preferred
Calm, reliable, and flexible personality with strong communication skills
Willingness to undergo paid training within 2 weeks of being hired
Must be comfortable around cats
Must pass background checks
Schedule: Part-time with consistent weekly hours; flexible based on mutual availability
