Job Summary: The Azure Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Azure platform, experience with network infrastructure design, and expertise in Azure DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions on Azure. Plan, design, and implement cloud solutions in line with business and technical requirements. Maintain and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Implement cost-control strategies to keep the cloud budget in check. Ensure data integrity and access control by implementing security measures. Build out and manage cloud data centers, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. Work with development teams to help direct the design of cloud-based applications. Evaluate new cloud technologies and make recommendations for their implementation. Manage disaster recovery and create backup strategies. Provide end-user training and technical support as needed. Document and update architectural diagrams, configurations, and specifications. Apply Microsoft best practices and reference architecture to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. Required Certifications: AZ 305 Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions AZ-700 Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Experience: Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure infrastructure solutions. Strong knowledge of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security. Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployments. Familiarity with network security, Azure Policies and Blueprints, Azure Monitor, and Azure security and governance mechanisms. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
