The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Adolescent, ScreenWise and Reproductive Health (ASRH) section in Portland, OR is recruiting for a Youth Sexual Health Research Analyst, as part of the Adolescent & School Health Unit (ASH) to coordinate and implement research projects related to youth sexual health. In addition to supporting youth sexual health related projects across ASH, the primary focus of this position provides research and data coordination to the federally funded grant the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP). PREP in Oregon currently supports sexual health education and healthy relationship programming to youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position provides data analysis and interpretation with a racial equity/health equity lens for a variety of audiences. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures, and one year experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports. Desired Attributes: Passion for promoting youth access to and involvement in health education and health care; experience with qualitative and quantitative research projects; survey design and implementation; software for quantitative (SPSS, Stata) and qualitative (Atlas TI, Dedoose) data analysis; knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI); ability to write and present research findings clearly; ability to recommend actions based on research findings; strong background in community-based or population-based adolescent health programs. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position based in Portland, Oregon with the Oregon Health Authority.
