Word Press Developer role at Venture Tech Solutions, Inc.

IN OFFICE. Office is in Broward County, FL. Venture Tech Solutions is seeking a Word Press Developer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about working on cutting-edge data solutions. Youll play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimizing data warehouses and reporting systems that drive business intelligence for critical decision-making. This is a paid opportunity, and the office is located in Plantation, FL .

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and custom code.
• Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to implement new features and improve UX/UI.
• Optimize site performance, SEO, and responsiveness across all devices.
• Manage and implement Git-based workflows (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub pipelines) for code deployment and version control
• Manage, update, and deploy shared UI components and applications (e.g., custom calculators) built with React and styled with Tailwind CSS, ensuring consistency and performance across all embedded WordPress properties.
• Manage WordPress internalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) efforts for themes and plugins. (Poedit)
• Implement and manage tracking via Google Tag Manager, including: Setting up and troubleshooting GTM containers and triggers; Integrating pixels for Facebook/Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.; Custom event tracking (e.g., form submissions, eCommerce events, scroll tracking); Ensure accurate data collection and support marketing attribution models.
• Conduct website testing, debugging, and QA for all releases and deployments.
• Stay up to date with WordPress and tracking/analytics best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Experience in the setup, administration, and development within a WordPress Multisite environment.
• Proven knowledge of the architecture and development best practices for the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg), Full Site Editing (FSE), and custom block development (using React/JavaScript).
• Experience with headless WordPress implementation using REST API or GraphQL.
• Implement modern JavaScript bundling and transpilation using tools like Webpack or Vite to optimize delivery and performance of custom scripts.
• Deep understanding of GTM, GA4, and pixel integration (Meta, Google Ads, etc.).
• Familiarity with server-side tagging, data Layer, and custom event tracking.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of performance optimization tools and techniques (e.g., caching, image optimization).
