About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Sales to lead and inspire an outside sales team, driving the company's sales performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales team with key customer visits, analyzing sales reports, and working with key vendor partners to ensure vibrant sales success. This role involves removing obstacles to sales and is pivotal in the company's growth plans, which include the development and onboarding of a new sales team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 5 years of sales management experience, and a strong background in sales and sales management, with a preference for those with experience in the packaging or industrial marketplace. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Sales include leading, managing, and holding the sales team accountable, as well as actively recruiting, onboarding, and training outside sales representatives and account managers. The role requires a forward-thinking, visionary mindset, and the ability to collaborate in sales presentations, analyze sales reports, and work directly with key vendor partners. The candidate should have a proven track record in recruiting and growing a sales team, be proficient in Microsoft products, and have CRM and ERP experience, with a plus for those familiar with Zoho and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
