About the Role:

We’re looking for a creative and collaborative UX/UI Designer to take ownership of our Figma-based design system and shape seamless user experiences across our platforms. If you love solving design challenges, thrive in an engaging environment, and are eager to grow in your role—this is for you.

As our UX/UI Designer, you’ll work closely with Technology, Product, and Marketing teams, turning concepts into polished, high-impact designs. You’ll play a critical role in enhancing our Master Design system in Figma and ensuring consistency across all user touchpoints.

This role is more than just creating great designs—it’s about contributing to a collaborative and fun culture, where your ideas are valued, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Own and evolve our Design system in Figma, ensuring consistency across products that are used daily by tens of thousands of users.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to bring ideas to life through user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Work with stakeholders to research and transform concepts into engaging, user-friendly experiences with a mobile-first mindset.
• Partner with the Engineering team to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Create compelling visuals for marketing and brand materials to enhance user engagement.
• Stay curious and up-to-date on design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate our UX.

About You:

• Expert in Figma and experienced in maintaining and expanding a design system.
• 2+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong focus on building wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for responsive web and mobile experiences.
• A keen eye for detail, with solid skills in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong communication skills—you can explain design decisions to stakeholders and collaborate effectively with developers.
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn—you’re excited to grow in your role and contribute to our evolving design ecosystem.
• Passionate about user-centric design and continuously improving the user experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, fun, and collaborative environment.

• Experience working across all steps of product development.
• Ability to apply marketing principles to UX/UI design for enhanced user engagement.
• Comfort with UX research methodologies and data-driven design improvements.
• A proactive mindset—you speak up and advocate for best practices.
• Exposure to A/B testing concepts and working with data science teams.
• A great sense of humor and a love for working with a team that values fun and creativity.

Compensation & Location:

Scalable Commerce maintains a hybrid work environment with an office in Goleta, this role is open to remote work within California only .

The target base compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000, based upon background and experience.
