• Job Title: Pharmacist Inpatient

• Unit: Pharmacy – Inpatient
• Start Date: July 28, 2025
• End Date: October 25, 2025 (13 Weeks)
• Shift:
  • Day: 5x8 (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
  • Mid: 5x8 (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM)
• Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend (3–4 weekends total)
• Float: Yes, within unit
• Call: Not required
• Interview Required: TBD

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years required
• Charting System: Cerner
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PharmD or RPh
  • Active WI State License Preferred
  • Facility will accept candidates with pending WI license under the Act10 licensure - Candidates can start working with Act10 temporary licensure - Candidate must apply for WI license
• Patient Ratio: 1:25 average; Days: 1:20, Nights: 1:30, Weekends: 1:45

Skills & Experience Needed:

• Medication Dosing:
  • Anticoagulants, Cardiac, Clinical, Geriatric, Pediatric, Renal, Pharmacokinetics, Warfarin
• Therapeutic Monitoring:
  • Pharmacotherapy Management for:
    • Cardiovascular, GI, Renal, Endocrine, Pulmonary, Immunologic, Hematologic, ID, Neurologic, Bone & Joint
• Systems & Equipment:
  • Pharmacy Keeper or BD Med Keeper, Pyxis Carousel, Omnicell
  • IV Compounding, Sterile Techniques, TPN mixers
• Work Setting: Inpatient / Acute Care
• Age Groups: Neonates through Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 45–60; Visits per Day: 100

• Unit Capacity: 99 Rooms, 99 Beds
• Specialties Encountered:
  • Cardiothoracic surgery, STEMI/NSTEMI, Stroke, Ortho (joint replacements), L&D, NICU transfers, Alcohol/Drug withdrawal, Liver/Renal failure (CRRT/hemodialysis), Parenteral Nutrition
• Interdisciplinary Support: PT, RT, Radiology, Social Services, Unit Secretary, Rapid Response
