Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Jackson, Mississippi.

Unit Notes (Summarized & Organized)

General Requirements

• 50-mile radius rule applies.
• Fingerprinting:
  • Remote process: Allow 10 days for completion.
  • In-person: Can be completed at the Jackson or Grenada campus during the week prior to start date.
• Flu Vaccine:
  • Required at UMMC.
  • Deadline: November 15.
  • Only medical exemptions allowed , and must include documented evidence from a healthcare provider of a past severe reaction.

Clinical Requirements

• Epic charting proficiency is required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of solid experience .
  • Burn unit experience is not required , but preferred.
  • Previous travel experience is a plus.

Staffing & Ratios

• Typical ratio: 1:3
• Maximum ratio: 1:4 (rare; only in certain circumstances)
• If an ICU patient is included, ratio becomes 1:2 .

Pay & Contract

• Local candidates accepted at $60/hr.
• Seeking ASAP starts.

Holiday Expectation

• Candidates should be willing to cover at least one upcoming holiday to prevent staffing imbalances.
• Flexible regarding which holiday.
