• Location: Lynchburg, VA 24501 (Virginia healthcare jobs)\n
• Facility Setting: Neuro ICU, LAC Resource Team\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n
• Start Dates: 12/01/2025 and 12/15/2025\n
• Assignment Duration: 13-week contract\n
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts\n
• Hours per Week: 36 hours\n
• Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per month, based on unit needs\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2-3 years of recent ICU nursing experience (critical care nurse)\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required \n
• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or compact state)\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)\n
• NIH Stroke Scale certification\n
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccination or approved declination\n
• Teaching hospital and charge nurse experience preferred\n
• Strong teamwork skills—ability to mentor students and new hires\n
• No local travelers within 60 miles (Lynchburg nursing jobs)\n

\n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality patient care to neuro, surgical, and medical ICU patients\n
• Operate advanced clinical equipment: vital signs monitors, glucometers, SCDs, bladder scanners, vein finders, remote telemetry, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps, and oxygen delivery devices\n
• Float to other hospital units as needed (travel nurses float first)\n
• Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for students and new hires\n
• Participate in weekend rotations per unit requirements\n
• Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with hospital policies\n
