\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work under supervision of unit Supervisor/Manager/Director
\n• Deliver patient care through nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
\n• Every other weekend schedule required
\n• No on-call responsibilities
\n• 2+ years of ICU experience required
\n• Experience floating to PCU/Med Surg/Tele units required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
\n• Michigan nursing license required
\n• Complete physical, psychological, and social assessments within designated timeframes
\n• Formulate and implement written care plans within 24 hours of admission
\n• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families
\n• Promote patient independence through education and self-care skill development
\n• Adhere to infection-control policies, medication administration procedures, and controlled substance regulations
\n• Document and communicate patient actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
\n• Utilize leadership skills through delegation and team member evaluation
\n• Recognize changes in patient status and provide appropriate interventions
\n• Prioritize care based on individual patient needs with strong focus on patient education
\n• Participate in continuing education and attend minimum of eight monthly staff meetings annually
\n• Must provide work history, current skills checklist, and 2 supervisory references
