Title: Translators(Chinese/English)
Location: Cartersville, GA
Duration: Full-time 

• This position is responsible for providing language support for and between the US and China manufacturing plants at our Cartersville, GA location.

Major Function and Scope:

• Fluent in English and Chinese. Able to translate accurately and clearly. 
• Provide Chinese support services, including transcription, and translation/interpretation. 
• Provide all cultural and ethnic contexts of translations, interpretations, and transcriptions. 
• Follow up on important projects. Support and facilitate the completion of regular reports. 
• Perform document scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents and intercepted data for key information. 
• Maintain effective daily operations and make suggestions for process improvements when necessary. 
• Interested in continuing a career in manufacturing. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Knowledge, Experience, and Competencies
• Full command, written and spoken, of English and Chinese. 
• Knowledge and ability are generally obtained through the equivalent of a bachelor's degree program. 
• Detail- and deadline-oriented multitasker
• Experienced in Microsoft Products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is occasionally exposed to wet, warm, humid, and cold temperatures.
• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• The employee is frequently required to sit and walk around for 8-12 hours.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• All team members must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of activities during daily business, including some which may not normally be part of the job description for an equivalent position elsewhere.
