Job Description

Multi Manager Hedge Fund looking to attract a high performing Trading Assistant.

The fund has investment pods across macro, equity, commodities, systematic, credit with a global reach, inclusive of US, EMEA and APAC.

The opportunity is a growth hire due to accelerated scale and the onboarding of multiple new investment pods.

True TA seat underpinned by core duties listed below:

• Sits alongside Portfolio Managers
• Hire is based on scale and performance – two of these pods are some of the highest grossing globally.
• Training on execution/execution pathway.
• T0 Trade booking, risk management, P&L and pricing.
• Constant PM commentary and explanation
• T+1/Core operations managed by outsource provider

Experience required

• Varied product suite or at least comfort in explaining product structures and workflows
• Sell or buy side background
• PM engagement and managing front office queries – hold own in explaining positions and managing post execution events to protect P&L
• Front to back trade life cycle management
• P&L, pricing and risk management
• Knowledge of the markets will also be expected.
