The position maintains and repairs all College facilities to include one or more of the following trade activities: plumbing, painting, carpentry, general maintenance, new construction, and/or lock and key work. Job Duties include minor indoor and outdoor painting; repair plumbing and replace plumbing fixtures; hang interior and exterior doors and door frames; replace ceiling tiles; patch and hang drywall; order and replace broken and missing ceramic tile; repair holes in existing walls; replace baseboards; and perform other similar and related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: The position requires at least vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship beyond High School or GED and at least two years of prior-related work experience. Substitution of at least one additional year of prior-related work experience is permitted for the vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship. The selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a Level II criminal background check, which includes fingerprinting.
