Who You Are:
We are seeking a talented Technical Project Manager II to support the DHS Homeland Security Enterprise Network (HSEN), the Department’s Wide Area Network (WAN) facilitating information sharing across DHS HQ and 22 DHS components, including shared internet, intranet, and extranet services. The role involves supporting Tier 3 network architecture, planning, design, operations, maintenance, and management of LAN/WAN infrastructure within the HSEN Network & Engineering team. The candidate will provide technical project management services, including scope and project planning, schedule development, customer engagement, risk management, and cost estimation.
This position will work directly with a skilled team of network and security engineers, business analysts, and vendors to advance tactical and strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
The Technical Project Manager will prioritize projects, coordinate planning activities, analyze requirements, and assist with deliverables. Responsibilities include managing and leading mission-critical IT network projects, performing business systems analysis, gathering requirements, and validating solutions.
Location: The position is primarily remote.
