Sustainability Advisor - ESG Software Solutions
Are you passionate about leveraging digital technologies to help Fortune 500 companies to transform their ESG programs? Have you engaged with senior ESG stakeholders to recommend ESG software solutions combined with optimal data management strategies that enable more efficient, more accurate ESG KPI calculations? Our North America Sustainability team is searching for a Sustainability Advisor focused on ESG software solutions. This person is a unique combination of a business strategist and digital technologist, with a strong understanding of ESG software solutions, especially Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.
At Cognizant, you would be a member of Cognizant’s rapidly growing Sustainability Practice, where we help clients to identify and deploy technology solutions that enable them to more accurately and more efficiently monitor their ESG KPIs.

Qualifications
· Hands on experience with ESG software solutions, especially Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.
· Understanding of the key advantages of industry leading ESG software solutions, including IBM Envizi, Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability, Sphera, etc.
| · Experience with systems architecture and designing scalable performance-driven solutions based on requirements and business roadmap. · Experience with data integration tools and integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, AppExchange managed packages, CRMA, etc.) · Proven success engaging with clients and development teams to identify opportunities for digital technology to help clients to achieve their sustainability goals · Client focused, detail-oriented, organized and independent thinker · Working knowledge of the GHG Protocol and carbon emissions reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD) · Experience influencing across organization levels, including with senior management · Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills · Experience in Agile and waterfall based technology deployments · Over 5 years professional experience working in the sustainability technology sector. · Active Salesforce certifications (e.g. Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional) · BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer science, environmental engineering, or other related engineering. MS/MBA preferred Expected travel: 15% |
