Position: Substance Abuse & Mental Health Counselor

Compensation : $40,000 - $55,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of clients, overseeing all phases of treatment from admission to discharge
Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to client needs.
Educate clients on addiction recovery, co-occurring mental health disorders, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Ensure compliance with treatment protocols by maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each client’s level of care.
Collaborate with the Clinical Director, Clinical Coordinator, and external clinical supervisors for case management and professional development.
Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
Assist with discharge planning and monitor client adherence to program guidelines.
Support additional program needs as required.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in counseling, therapy, psychology, or a related field.
Training in addiction and/or co-occurring mental health treatment services.
Recent graduates seeking licensure, associate-licensed, or fully licensed therapists/counselors are encouraged to apply.
Eligible licensures include MS, LAPC, APC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, MFT.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing client-centered care.
