Structural Engineer (P.E.)

Stevens Point, WI - Onsite work required. Relocation assistance provided.

We are seeking a Structural Engineer (P.E.) to support product development, design, and improvement while ensuring compliance with building codes and standards. This role collaborates with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural calculations using spreadsheets and structural software.
• Review, stamp, and seal drawings and calculations as the P.E. of Record.
• Obtain and maintain P.E. licensure in required states.
• Coordinate with external consulting engineers as needed.
• Support sales with technical insights for quotes and projects.
• Assist in overseeing engineering work on R&D projects.
• Monitor code changes and assess impacts on products.
• Travel up to 10% for site visits, conferences, and trade shows.
• Train and educate internal and external teams on engineering principles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Active P.E. license with the ability to obtain additional licenses required.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency in structural software (e.g., RISA3D, STAAD, or SAP2000).
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Experience in steel manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
