Job Description

Henneman Engineering is looking for a Mid-level Structural Engineer to join our Champaign, Illinois office.

Responsibilities

Participate in overall design and engineering of structural systems for projects as assigned throughout construction phase.
Visit job sites to conduct structural inspections, verifications, and progress evaluations.
Coordinate system layout and drawings with other disciplines; work as part of a multidisciplinary project team(s).
Prepare contract documents, technical specifications, reports, structural cost estimates, and other relevant documents.
Review and act upon RFIs, submittals, and other construction-related documents.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited University
5-10 years of experience performing structural engineering work in a design and consulting engineering firm like ours
Professional Engineer / Structural Engineer license is highly preferred
