About the Position

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center seeks an Adult Psychiatrist for a full-time outpatient clinic-based role at our Hershey, PA location. Preference for candidates interested in mood, anxiety, and interventional psychiatry. The site handles approximately 40,000 visits annually and offers services including assessment, medication management, neuromodulation, and counseling. Opportunities exist for teaching and research, with additional compensation for in-person calls.

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Penn State College of Medicine is dedicated to improving mental health through education, research, and clinical services. We collaborate across disciplines and offer various training programs, including residencies and fellowships. Our facilities include the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute with inpatient and outpatient services.

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, or equivalent
  • Completed accredited residency
  • BC/BE in psychiatry, certification within 3 years if applicable
