Staff Accountant

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries and analyses.
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor capital projects, including updating fixed asset additions and transfers.
• Perform cash accounting and related functions as required.
• Generate miscellaneous invoices.
• Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests, utilizing Excel and data mining from available system data.
• Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
• Provide support for accounts payable functions and processes.
• Communicate effectively with management and escalate issues as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
